We are seeking a Digital Content & Social Media Specialist to join our growing marketing team. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented digital marketer who understands how strong content, compelling storytelling, social media, and video can build meaningful connections with an audience. You will help shape how Buckfire Law communicates across digital platforms by creating engaging content, managing social media channels, supporting video production, and using performance data to continually improve our digital presence. The ideal candidate can take complex topics and turn them into clear, approachable, and engaging content while maintaining the professionalism, empathy, and trust that are central to the Buckfire Law brand. What You'll Do Content Development & Digital Storytelling Create engaging, well-researched, and SEO-focused content for blogs, websites, landing pages, social media, and other digital channels. Translate personal injury and legal topics into clear, accessible content for prospective clients and the broader community. Maintain a consistent brand voice that is professional, compassionate, informative, and easy to understand. Develop social media copy and assist with video scripts designed to increase engagement, strengthen brand awareness, and support lead generation. Support digital engagement campaigns for prospective clients, current clients, community audiences, and referral partners. Ensure published content follows applicable legal advertising requirements and internal brand standards. Social Media & Community Engagement Manage day-to-day social media activity across platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, and X. Develop and maintain an organized multi-platform content calendar. Coordinate content around practice areas, firm culture, community involvement, client education, seasonal campaigns, and firm initiatives. Monitor comments, messages, and audience interactions and respond or route inquiries appropriately. Work collaboratively with the Client Happiness Specialist and marketing team to highlight client testimonials, firm accomplishments, case results, community involvement, and other brand-building content. Identify opportunities to strengthen engagement and expand the firm's digital audience. Video Production, Editing & Publishing Coordinate larger on-site and off-site video shoots with outside production vendors. Assist with smaller internal video shoots using firm-provided equipment as needed. Edit short-form content including Reels and Shorts, as well as longer-form video content featuring attorneys, educational topics, firm updates, and client stories. Refresh or update existing video content when needed. Add captions, graphics, visual hooks, callouts, motion elements, and audio enhancements that improve viewer engagement. Prepare videos for multiple platforms by optimizing sizing, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and other platform-specific elements. Manage YouTube content optimization including playlists, titles, tags, chapters, descriptions, and metadata. Support video SEO and other strategies designed to improve organic visibility and audience reach. Analytics & Performance Optimization Track and report on digital marketing performance, including reach, engagement, video completion rates, referral traffic, lead inquiries, and channel performance. Evaluate content performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Test content formats, thumbnails, messaging, posting times, and other variables to improve engagement and marketing effectiveness. Use performance data to help guide future content and social media strategies. What We're Looking For 2 to 4 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, social media management, video editing, or a related field. Experience working in an agency, professional services organization, or in-house marketing environment is preferred. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with excellent grammar and attention to detail. Ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and digital platforms. Experience with video editing programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut Pro. Experience with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva. Familiarity with social media management platforms such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social. Experience working with WordPress or similar content management systems. Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4. Understanding of video formatting, captions, audio cleanup, thumbnail development, and digital publishing best practices. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute ideas as our marketing strategy continues to grow. Even Better If You Have Previous marketing experience within a law firm, medical practice, or another regulated professional services environment. Experience with local SEO and Google Business Profiles. Familiarity with structured data and schema concepts. Experience supporting organic and paid social media campaigns. Why Buckfire Law?
