East Coast Preowned Office Furniture is part of a group of three sister companies serving the commercial furniture industry: East Coast Preowned Office Furniture East Coast Office Furniture Services NJ Laminates While this position is being advertised through East Coast Preowned Office Furniture, the Sales & Marketing Manager will have the opportunity to help develop sales across all three companies. The Opportunity East Coast Preowned Office Furniture sells new and preowned office furniture primarily to businesses and the general public. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the entire sales and marketing process — not simply post on social media. The right person will develop a consistent sales strategy, create new ways to generate leads, manage digital advertising, hire and manage sales representatives, establish sales KPIs, run sales meetings, and hold the sales team accountable for results. Our three companies offer complementary services, which creates significant cross-selling opportunities. Sales representatives may focus on one company or market segment, but they will be trained and encouraged to sell the capabilities of all three companies when appropriate. Responsibilities Develop and manage the overall sales strategy Create new programs and methods for generating qualified leads Manage Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other digital marketing channels Develop and manage targeted advertising campaigns Identify the appropriate audiences for each company and service Create sales materials, brochures, presentations and promotional campaigns Develop email, direct outreach and prospecting campaigns Recruit, interview and hire sales representatives Train and onboard new sales representatives Establish sales territories, responsibilities and prospecting expectations Manage and coach the sales team Conduct regular sales meetings Establish and track individual and team KPIs Manage sales pipeline activity and follow-up Track lead sources, opportunities, conversions and revenue Develop programs to increase showroom traffic and appointments Ensure the showroom remains organized, professional and sales-ready Develop relationships with businesses, property managers, designers, contractors and other potential customers Identify cross-selling opportunities between our three sister companies Report directly to ownership on sales activity, pipeline and performance Continuously develop new ways to increase leads, opportunities and revenue What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is both a manager and a builder . This position is ideal for someone who understands that successful sales management requires more than waiting for inbound leads. You should be comfortable developing campaigns, prospecting strategies, managing salespeople, reviewing numbers and continuously improving the sales process. Experience in office furniture, commercial interiors, construction, architectural products, B2B sales or a related industry is a plus, but strong sales management experience is more important. The ideal candidate has experience with: Sales team management Recruiting and developing sales representatives B2B and B2C sales Lead generation Digital advertising Facebook and Instagram advertising LinkedIn marketing and prospecting CRM and sales pipeline management KPI development and reporting Sales meetings and accountability Marketing campaigns and promotional materials Compensation Base salary + performance bonus Performance bonuses will be tied to clearly defined sales KPIs, team performance and revenue milestones. As the sales department grows and reaches established targets, compensation can grow with it.
