East Coast Office Furniture Services provides commercial office furniture delivery, installation and related services and works closely with furniture dealerships, manufacturers, contractors and businesses throughout the region. We are part of a group of three sister companies: East Coast Office Furniture Services East Coast Preowned Office Furniture NJ Laminates This position will focus heavily on developing dealer, contractor and commercial relationships for East Coast Office Furniture Services while also helping create sales opportunities across all three companies. The Opportunity There are hundreds of furniture dealerships, manufacturers, contractors, designers and commercial organizations in our market that could use our services. We want a Sales & Marketing Manager who can systematically reach them. The person in this role will be responsible for developing our sales strategy, identifying target customers, generating leads, recruiting and managing sales representatives, creating sales materials, running targeted digital campaigns and building a measurable sales pipeline. This is a full sales management position , not simply a marketing or social media position. Responsibilities Develop and execute the company's B2B sales strategy Identify and target office furniture dealerships, manufacturers, contractors, designers and other commercial customers Build programs for generating new dealer and contractor relationships Develop prospecting lists and outbound sales campaigns Create LinkedIn and other targeted digital advertising campaigns Manage Facebook, Instagram and other appropriate marketing channels Create brochures, capability statements, presentations and sales materials Develop email campaigns and direct outreach programs Recruit, interview and hire sales representatives Train representatives on our services and capabilities Manage and coach the sales team Establish prospecting expectations and activity goals Conduct regular sales meetings Establish and track KPIs for each sales representative Review leads, opportunities, quotes and pipeline activity Ensure consistent follow-up on every qualified opportunity Track customer acquisition, conversion rates and revenue Develop dealer programs and strategic account relationships Identify opportunities to cross-sell NJ Laminates and East Coast Preowned Office Furniture Work directly with ownership on sales forecasting and growth strategy Continuously test and develop new methods for creating qualified leads Sales Team Structure The Sales & Marketing Manager will help us build the sales team. We may have representatives focused on individual companies, markets or customer types; however, our three companies work closely together and sales representatives will be trained to recognize opportunities for all three. For example, a furniture dealership that needs delivery and installation may also need custom laminate products from NJ Laminates. A business purchasing furniture may also require installation services. We want the sales organization to take advantage of those relationships. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is organized, numbers-driven and comfortable holding a sales team accountable. You should understand how to move from: Target Customer → Lead → Opportunity → Quote → Follow-Up → Sale → Repeat Customer Relevant experience may include: Commercial furniture Office furniture dealerships Furniture installation Contract furniture Commercial interiors Construction Architectural products Logistics B2B services Sales management We are especially interested in candidates with experience managing sales representatives and building outbound B2B sales programs. Compensation Base salary + performance bonus Performance bonuses will be based on established KPIs, sales-team performance and revenue milestones. The goal is to create an incentive structure where successful growth of the sales organization directly increases the manager's compensation.
