The Florida Holocaust Museum (The FHM) honors the memory of millions of innocent men, women and children who suffered or died in the Holocaust. One of the largest Holocaust museums in the country, The FHM is dedicated to teaching members of all races and cultures to recognize the inherent worth and dignity of human life to prevent future genocides. One of only three American Alliance of Museum (AAM) accredited Holocaust museums, The FHM boasts an outstanding collection of contemporary visual art as well as the largest Holocaust research library in the Southeastern United States. Its permanent exhibition highlights the artifacts, photographs, documents and testimonies of Holocaust Survivors and Liberators who came to settle in Florida. The Manager, Marketing Content & Operations advances The Florida Holocaust Museum's mission by ensuring consistent storytelling, effective marketing execution, and seamless coordination of marketing operations. This position manages the day-to-day workflow of marketing initiatives from project intake through publication, ensuring content is developed, approved, scheduled, and delivered accurately and on time. Working collaboratively with the Director of Marketing & Engagement and cross-functional teams, the Manager oversees content planning, publishing operations, social media management, marketing project coordination, and performance reporting. This position serves as the central point of coordination for marketing workflows, helping ensure projects are organized, deadlines are met, and communications consistently reflect The Museum's mission, brand, and strategic priorities.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Ownership:
Evaluate, prioritize, and manage organizational marketing requests, timelines, and deliverables across campaigns and departments, determining appropriate priorities and approaches based on organizational needs and established marketing strategies. Manage the marketing review and approval process for marketing materials, determining appropriate stakeholders, identifying and resolving issues, and making recommendations to ensure projects remain aligned with organizational priorities, timelines, and budgets. Develop, edit and manage written content for campaigns and routine marketing across all platforms (print and digital), communications for donors, members, and general public that reflects The Museum's mission, values, and voice. Develop and manage social media content, monitor social media and online community engagement, and respond where appropriate within established guidelines to foster trust, connection, and alignment. Evaluate and prioritize website content and update needs, make recommendations regarding content and user experience, and manage external website support. Develop, implement and evaluate marketing workflows, editorial and social media calendars, templates, and standard operating procedures to support efficient and consistent execution. Generate reports and analyze data to evaluate campaign performance, identify trends and opportunities, and make recommendations regarding content, campaigns, audience engagement, and marketing strategy. Support Role Contribute to developing and maintaining cross-platform content and marketing project calendars. Partner with Design & Digital Specialist to ensure all marketing materials and visual content adhere to brand guidelines. Assist with monthly performance tracking, reporting, and preparation of marketing analytic summaries. Provide support in creating, placing, and monitoring paid digital ad campaigns. Support The FHM's events and activities as needed, including occasional evenings and weekends. Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred. A strong portfolio may substitute for formal education. 4-8 years of experience in marketing, communications, content, or a related field (internships or freelance work accepted). Preferably within a nonprofit, cultural, educational, or museum organization. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency in Canva, email marketing platforms, and social media tools (Adobe Creative Suite a plus). Familiarity with WordPress, Google Analytics, SEO, and PPC strategies. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Excellent written, editing, proofreading and verbal communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Commitment to the mission and values of The Florida Holocaust Museum.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment. Ability to communicate effectively in-person, by telephone and through electronic communications. Must be able to lift 10 lbs. at times.
