Description Senior Programmatic & Performance Marketing Manager Location:

Spartanburg / Greenville, SC (Hybrid) (Can be remote EST or Central)

VP, Marketing and Analytics About the Role Are you a programmatic expert who thrives on hands-on DSP execution and high-impact digital performance strategy? We are seeking a Senior Programmatic & Performance Marketing Manager to take end-to-end ownership of our multi-million dollar paid media initiatives, with a heavy emphasis on programmatic buying, audience targeting, and multi-channel campaign execution. In this role, you will be the primary strategist and hands-on manager driving customer acquisition, retention, and scalable revenue growth. You will directly configure, execute, and optimize programmatic media while collaborating cross-functionally with creative, analytics, UX, and product teams. Key Responsibilities Programmatic Buying & DSP Ownership

+ Take complete, hands-on ownership of programmatic campaigns within top DSPs (StackAdapt, DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, Basis, Yahoo DSP).

+ Build, execute, and continuously optimize campaigns across native, display, video, audio, and Connected TV (CTV).

+ Manage direct-to-publisher deals, private marketplaces (PMPs), inventory sources, and automated bidding strategies to maximize media efficiency. Multi-Million Dollar Campaign & Funnel Management

+ Manage and reallocate multi-million dollar annual performance budgets across programmatic, paid search, paid social, and affiliate channels.

+ Execute full-funnel digital strategies—spanning awareness, consideration, retargeting, and direct-response acquisition.

+ Scale performance focused on bottom-line business metrics: CPA, ROAS, CAC, LTV, and incrementality. Audience Strategy & Data Governance

+ Design sophisticated audience targeting frameworks utilizing 1st-party CRM data, lookalikes, behavioral, and contextual segments.

+ Partner with web dev and analytics to manage pixel deployment, Google Tag Manager (GTM), tag governance, and conversion tracking across platforms.

+ Ensure strict compliance with channel policies, industry regulations, and evolving consumer privacy standards. Analytics, CRO & Testing

+ Utilize GA4, enterprise BI tools, and multi-touch attribution models to evaluate campaign performance and conversion paths.

+ Build, run, and scale structured A/B and multivariate testing frameworks for creative assets, audience segments, and landing page user experiences.

+ Translate complex performance data into clear, actionable executive insights and present them directly to senior leadership. Requirements Vendor & Agency Management

+ Manage relationships, contracts, and SLAs with media vendors, platform reps, and external agencies.

+ Conduct regular business reviews and scorecard performance evaluations to hold external partners accountable to key business metrics. Qualifications +

Experience:

5-7+ years of hands-on digital performance marketing experience, with a heavy, demonstrated emphasis on programmatic buying and DSP management. +

Track Record:

Proven success managing multi-million dollar annual media budgets ($2M-$10M+) and driving measurable direct-response acquisition. +

Technical Mastery:

Deep hands-on proficiency in programmatic DSP platforms (StackAdapt preferred, alongside DV360, TTD, etc.), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and GA4. +

Domain Expertise:

Advanced understanding of audience segmentation, multi-touch attribution, incrementality testing, and conversion rate optimization (CRO). +

Education & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; exceptional written and verbal communication skills with executive-presentation comfort. Preferred Qualifications

+ Industry experience in financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated sectors.

+ Active certifications across major DSPs, Google Search/Analytics, or Meta platforms.

+ Experience integrating marketing automation, CRM workflows, and dynamic creative optimization (DCO). Position Details & Working Conditions +
