Purpose Brands, the parent company of Orangetheory, Anytime Fitness, Waxing the City, and The Bar Method, is seeking a Senior Director of Marketing to join its The Bar Method team. This role is designed for a strategic marketing leader who can build a differentiated, enduring brand while driving measurable business growth. The Senior Director, Marketing owns the end-to-end marketing ecosystem for The Bar Method — spanning brand strategy and creative expression, full-funnel performance, lifecycle marketing, and growth-driving initiatives. Reporting via a dual-line structure to The Bar Method Brand President and the Chief Commercial Officer, this leader will shape long-term brand strategy while accelerating customer acquisition, retention, and reactivation across marketing channels. The role oversees two direct reports and works closely with cross-functional partners including Operations, Analytics, Tech, Franchise Leadership, and the internal Marketing and Creative Shared Services team to deliver high impact marketing programs. The ideal candidate blends strategic thinking with creative ambition, balances franchisee needs with enterprise growth objectives, and thrives at the intersection of brand, performance, and consumer experience.
Purpose/Impact:
(Duties & Essential Functions) Strategic Brand Leadership Ability to define, steward, and evolve a differentiated brand that drives long-term value while enabling performance marketing effectiveness across channels. Integrated Campaign Leadership Ability to align brand storytelling, media, channels, and execution into cohesive, high-performing go-to-market efforts. Growth & Full-Funnel Marketing Expertise Leverage extensive experience in digital products and full funnel marketing strategies, including an understanding of digital paid channels, earned media and messaging integration. Work with Marketing Subject Matter Experts in the Shared Services team to identify the best growth strategies Data-Driven Decision Making Comfort using analytics, experimentation, and insights to inform strategy, optimize performance, and allocate resources effectively. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration Proven ability to build strong teams, set clear priorities, and execute with rigor in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments. Executive Communication & Influence Clear, concise communicator who can translate complexity into actionable direction for executives, franchisees, and teams.
REQUIRED STRENGTHS AND BACKGROUND
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree desirable, but not a prerequisite 15+ years of experience in marketing leadership spanning both brand and performance Proven experience owning full-funnel marketing with accountability for both brand health and revenue outcomes Demonstrated ability to lead integrated teams across brand, digital, lifecycle, and media functions Strong communication, analytical, and team management skills. Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing cross-functional stakeholders Experience operating in complex, multi-unit or franchise environments strongly preferred
Salary Range:

Purpose Brands LLC, currently observe the following hybrid work model for employees at our Boca Raton (FL), Woodbury (MN), and Seattle (WA) offices: Remote optional: Fridays On-site days: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
