Social Media & Digital Content Intern Echo Media | Casa de Bendición Yonkers, NY | Paid Internship | Fall 2026 Job Overview Echo Media is seeking a creative, self-directed, and innovative Christian to serve as a Social Media & Digital Content Intern supporting Casa de Bendición, a growing Christian ministry in Yonkers, NY. This is a hands-on position with significant creative independence. We are looking for someone who doesn't need to be told exactly what to record, edit, or post each week. We want someone who can recognize great content opportunities, bring fresh ideas, experiment with new approaches, and help strengthen our digital presence. We provide the ministry vision, resources, account access, and approved advertising budget. You bring the creativity, initiative, and digital-media knowledge.

Sundays, 3:00 PM-5:00 PM in

Approximately 3 additional flexible hours during the week

Start Date:

Fall 2026 Key Responsibilities Record Sunday worship, preaching, testimonies, and ministry moments Independently identify compelling moments and sermon excerpts for social media Create approximately 2-3 Reels/Shorts per week Edit vertical video with subtitles, hooks, transitions, and appropriate branding Write engaging captions and calls to action Publish and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts Repurpose content across multiple platforms Develop creative content ideas and recurring social media series Identify relevant trends and appropriately adapt them for Christian/ministry content Develop organic strategies to increase reach and engagement Promote services, events, ministries, and special initiatives Review basic analytics and identify high-performing content Use performance insights to improve future content Assist with approved paid social media campaigns, including setup, targeting, monitoring, and basic optimization Paid Social Media Advertising The intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with paid social media promotion in addition to organic content creation. Echo Media will provide and approve all advertising budgets. The intern will never be expected to use personal funds for advertising or promotional expenses.

Qualifications:

Spanish speaking and comprehension required Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred Comfortable working in a Christian ministry environment and creating faith-based digital content Familiarity with Christian church culture, worship services, biblical teaching, or ministry media preferred Genuine interest in faith-based media and digital storytelling strongly preferred Able to accurately represent the mission, message, values, and voice of Casa de Bendición through digital content Creative, proactive, innovative, and resourceful Comfortable working independently and taking initiative with limited supervision Able to identify compelling moments from worship services, sermons, and ministry activities for social media content Familiar with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts Able to record and edit engaging short-form video content Familiarity with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar editing/design tools preferred Basic knowledge of social media strategy, trends, captions, hashtags, and audience engagement preferred Familiarity with paid social media advertising or willingness to learn preferred Comfortable reviewing basic analytics and using performance data to improve future content Strong creative judgment and attention to detail Reliable, organized, punctual, and able to meet agreed-upon deadlines Able to manage approximately 5 hours of work per week, including on-site and remote responsibilities Must be available on-site Sundays from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM in
