Job Description
Job Summary About Us Invoice Integrators is helps small and mid-sized businesses with their invoicing, payment and QuickBooks software needs. We are a lean, high-velocity outbound sales organization. Our clients stay with us for years, so every account we win compounds. We are hiring the person who will make our top of funnel bigger and cleaner. Salary Range DOE Why This Role Exists We are hiring someone to continue building and improving leads in our pipeline through: Email as a lead source in its own right. Cold campaigns that book qualified meetings on their own merit — not as a warm-up for a rep who was going to call anyway. Email that multiplies the sales team. Nurture, follow-up, and reactivation content that keeps deals moving between conversations and puts reps in front of prospects who already understand what we do. New funnels beyond email. Paid search, paid social, and retargeting — built, tested, measured, and scaled where the cost per qualified meeting justifies it. We have not built these channels yet. You would be the first person here to own them. Every channel is judged the same way: meetings held and accounts closed. This is not a brand-awareness or content-calendar role. This is a pipeline role. What You'll Own 1. MQL Volume and SQL Quality Own the number of marketing-sourced qualified leads entering the pipeline each month. Improve conversion quality downstream, not just raw volume — a lead that fails the venue test or has no real card volume is not a win. Partner with leadership to define, document, and enforce the MQL → SQL handoff criteria. Build the reporting that shows, by source and campaign, what converts to a held meeting, a collected statement, and a closed account. 2. Cold Email — HTML and Plain Text Write, build, test, and iterate cold sequences targeting our core segments (QuickBooks users by version, payment integration status, and current fee-handling approach). Own subject lines, offers, and CTAs; run structured A/B tests rather than one-off guesses.
Manage deliverability end to end:
secondary sending domains, warmup, inbox placement, spam-trigger avoidance, list hygiene, bounce and complaint thresholds. Keep all claims substantiable and compliant — no unverifiable savings figures, no implying we are Intuit. 3. Warm and In-Pipeline Content Build the nurture tracks for leads that are engaged but not yet closed: post-meeting follow-up, statement-requested-but-not-received, proposal-sent, and gone-quiet. Create reactivation campaigns for closed-lost and stalled deals. Support the CSM side with activation and adoption sequences where marketing content helps. Keep messaging consistent with ourL1/L2/L3
scripts so a prospect never hears two different stories. 4. Data Management — Cold and Engaged Own the cold data pipeline: sourcing, cleaning, deduping, enriching, and loading lists into HubSpot with correct properties and segmentation. Maintain the segmentation logic that determines which pool a contact belongs in and which sequence they receive. Route engaged contacts (opens, clicks, replies, form fills, portal visits) into the correct calling lists with accurate lead status.Enforce data hygiene standards:
no duplicates, no bad domains, correct ownership, correct time zone assignment. Continuously evaluate and test data vendors on coverage, accuracy, and cost per usable record. 5. Engagement-to-Call Process and Accountability Design the workflow that turns a marketing signal into a dial: what triggers a task, who owns it, what the SLA is, and what the talk track references. Build the HubSpot automation that creates and assigns those tasks automatically. Write the SOPs that make the process repeatable and trainable. Build and publish the dashboards that show whether the process is actually being followed — engagement worked vs. ignored, time-to-first-touch, attempts per engaged lead, outcomes logged. Report on gaps weekly and work with sales leadership to close them. 6. New Lead Funnels — Paid Search, Paid Social, and Retargeting Stand up and own our first paid acquisition channels: Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn paid social, and retargeting against site and email traffic. Build the landing pages, offers, and forms these channels point to, and make sure every conversion lands in HubSpot with correct attribution. Run disciplined tests with defined budgets and kill criteria — scale what produces qualified meetings, shut down what does not. Report cost per lead, cost per qualified meeting, and cost per closed account by channel so budget decisions are made on numbers, not opinion. Feed paid and inbound leads into the same qualification and follow-up process as everything else. Must Have 3+ years in demand generation, growth marketing, or outbound marketing for a B2B company selling to SMBs. Demonstrated ownership of cold email at volume — you have personally built sequences, managed sending domains, and fixed deliverability problems. Strong copywriting. You can write a plain-text email that sounds like a person and an HTML email that renders correctly in Outlook. Real, hands-on HubSpot experience: lists, workflows, sequences, properties, task automation, and custom reporting. Not "I've seen HubSpot." Hands-on experience running Google Ads, Meta Ads, or LinkedIn Ads with real budget accountability. Comfort living in spreadsheets and CRM data — cleaning, deduping, mapping fields, and spotting bad records before they get loaded. Willingness to work shoulder-to-shoulder with a sales team, including listening to calls and sitting in on dials. Bias toward shipping, measuring, and iterating over planning decks. Nice to Have Experience in payments, fintech, merchant services, accounting, or SaaS sold to bookkeepers, CPAs, or small business owners. Landing page build experience (WordPress, Unbounce, Vercel, or similar) and comfort with conversion tracking and attribution setup. Familiarity with Smartlead, Apollo, ZoomInfo, Outscraper, Clay or other data and data enrichment providers. BasicHTML/CSS
for email templates. Understanding ofCAN-SPAM
