Be Doing:
We're looking for a Sr. Creative Strategist to own creative strategy and experimentation across our growth marketing channels. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of performance data, creative direction, and conversion strategy. Our paid search and paid social channels are growing, and we have a talented creative team ready to execute — what we're missing is the strategic layer in between: someone who can look at what the data is telling us, turn it into sharp creative briefs and hypotheses, and build a testing infrastructure that makes us smarter over time. You'll also bring a CRO lens to how we think about the landing page experience — not building or editing pages, but ensuring our strategy from ad impression to conversion is intentional and informed by where traffic is coming from. This is a partner role. You'll work closely with our paid channel leads and creative team to elevate the quality and effectiveness of everything we put in market.
• This role is based onsite in Pleasanton, CA Monday through Friday

Your Impact:
Creative Strategy & Briefing Develop insight-driven creative briefs that give our creative team clear direction on concept, message, format, audience, and channel — so they can execute without ambiguity Own the creative strategy across paid channels (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google, etc.), ensuring every asset has a clear rationale tied to performance goals Partner closely with paid search and paid social channel leads to understand performance gaps and translate them into testable creative hypotheses Synthesize competitive creative trends, platform-specific best practices, and audience signals to continuously sharpen our creative approach Serve as the connective tissue between performance data and creative execution — bridging what the numbers say and what gets made Experimentation & Testing Partner with paid channel leads to build and maintain a structured creative testing roadmap — prioritizing hypotheses, defining success metrics, and translating results into learnings the team can act on Design experiments across ad creative variables (copy, hook, format, visual, CTA) with clear A/B or multivariate structures Own the creative learnings repository — documenting what works, what doesn't, and why — so institutional knowledge compounds over time Collaborate with channel managers to ensure tests are set up cleanly, measured correctly, and applied consistently across campaigns Landing Page Strategy (CRO) Develop LP testing recommendations based on traffic source, audience intent, and funnel stage — without owning page creation or editing Identify message-match gaps between ad creative and landing page experience, and surface prioritized CRO opportunities to the right stakeholders Apply CRO principles to how we think about the full journey from ad click to conversion, ensuring our strategy accounts for where users are coming from and what they expect to find Cross-Functional Partnership Act as a strategic partner to paid channel managers and the creative team — aligning on priorities, sharing learnings, and moving work forward efficiently Present creative strategies, test results, and recommendations clearly to marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders Contribute to a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement across growth marketing What you
Bring:
5+ years of experience in creative strategy for performance or growth marketing, with hands-on experience across paid social and/or paid search Proven ability to develop creative briefs and testing frameworks that drive measurable improvements in paid campaign performance Strong data fluency — you're comfortable pulling from creative analytics tools and translating performance signals into strategic direction on your own Deep familiarity with platform-specific creative best practices across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and/or Google Working knowledge of CRO principles and landing page strategy — you understand how traffic source and audience intent should shape the page experience, even if you're not the one building it Excellent communicator who can present findings and recommendations clearly to creative teams and non-marketing stakeholders alike A bias for systems and structure — you build processes that make the team smarter over time, not just solve for the immediate problem Comfortable operating in a cross-functional environment where influence without direct authority is the norm Experience in SaaS, marketplace, or B2B2C environments is a plus
