Marketing Specialist Schedule:
Full-time, onsite

Temporary (with opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate) Transition Staffing Group is partnering with a leading organization in the construction industry to hire a Temporary Marketing Specialist. This position will develop proposals, presentations, marketing collateral, and communications that support sales pursuits and help the organization win new business. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, editor, designer, and project coordinator who can gather technical information from multiple stakeholders and transform it into accurate, compelling marketing materials. Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or another B2B professional-services environment is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Lead the production and assembly of proposals, presentations, and other materials supporting multiple sales pursuits. Review RFPs and RFQs to identify requirements, deadlines, and necessary content. Gather project information, employee biographies, experience summaries, photography, and technical content from internal stakeholders. Develop marketing and communications materials that clearly communicate the organization's services, experience, value proposition, and competitive advantages. Produce marketing collateral from initial concept through final delivery while maintaining established brand and quality standards. Write, edit, proofread, and review materials for clarity, accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance. Collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, and project teams throughout proposal development and internal review cycles. Coordinate deadlines, contributors, revisions, approvals, and final submissions for multiple concurrent projects. Develop presentations and support interview preparation for client-facing pursuit teams. Draft press releases, media pitches, award submissions, executive communications, and project-related content. Develop internal communications, including newsletters, announcements, leadership messages, town hall materials, and project updates. Coordinate award submissions and maintain calendars, deadlines, and supporting materials. Maintain current marketing information in content libraries, databases, and CRM systems. Conduct interviews with project teams, gather project data, and capture or coordinate photography. Assist with vendor coordination, marketing expenditures, and projected costs. Travel occasionally to regional offices and active jobsites to support marketing and pursuit efforts. Perform other related responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. At least two years of related marketing, communications, proposal, or business-development experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, commercial real estate, or another B2B professional-services environment preferred. Strong writing, editing, proofreading, research, and technical-writing abilities. Graphic design and page-layout experience, preferably using Adobe InDesign and related Creative Cloud applications. Strong PowerPoint and Microsoft Office skills. Ability to translate technical information into clear, persuasive content. Excellent project-management, organizational, and deadline-management skills. Ability to manage multiple proposals and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong professional communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills. High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, polished work. Ability to work full-time onsite in San Diego.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
