Arose Home Care Services helps individuals receive care and support in the comfort of their homes. We serve older adults, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and families seeking assistance with daily care needs. We are seeking an experienced Medical Sales and Marketing Specialist to build referral relationships, increase awareness of our services, and help prospective clients move from an initial inquiry to starting care. Position Summary This position combines community outreach, healthcare relationship development, sales, and marketing. The specialist will represent Arose throughout Cobb, Douglas,Fulton and Paulding counties, develop new referral opportunities, and maintain consistent follow-up with community partners and prospective clients. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated track record of generating healthcare referrals and converting opportunities into new business. We want someone who can follow an opportunity all the way through—from the first conversation to helping coordinate the start of services. Responsibilities Referral Relationships and Community Outreach Develop and maintain relationships with hospital discharge planners, case managers, social workers, rehabilitation facilities, senior living communities, physicians' offices, veterans' organizations, churches, and other community partners. Conduct regular, planned visits to referral sources throughout the assigned territory. Introduce Arose's services and explain the types of clients we can serve. Identify each referral partner's needs and communicate how Arose may help. Arrange presentations, informational meetings, and community networking opportunities. Maintain relationships through timely follow-up and useful service updates. Identify new referral sources and opportunities to expand Arose's community presence. Sales and Client Development Respond promptly to assigned inquiries from prospective clients, families, and referral partners. Ask questions to understand care needs, desired schedules, location, and anticipated payment arrangements. Explain approved services, rates, and the process for beginning care. Coordinate assessments and introductions with the administrator. Follow up after inquiries, assessments, and proposals to answer questions and support informed decisions. Work with the administrator to confirm service availability and staffing before making commitments. Help coordinate the transition from an interested prospect to a client receiving services. Identify reasons opportunities do not move forward and recommend ways to improve follow-up. Marketing and Brand Representation Represent Arose professionally at networking events, health fairs, senior events, and community meetings. Distribute approved brochures, business cards, service information, and other marketing materials. Help develop outreach campaigns for private-pay clients, veterans, and other client groups Arose is authorized to serve. Suggest relevant educational topics and promotional content for families and referral partners. Support social media and email outreach in coordination with the administrator. Keep messaging accurate, clear, and consistent with Arose's services. Communicate community feedback and local marketing opportunities to leadership. Tracking and Reporting Maintain accurate records of referral contacts, visits, calls, inquiries, assessments, and client starts. Track each opportunity's status and next follow-up date. Submit a weekly activity and results report. Monitor which referral sources produce qualified inquiries and clients who begin care. Track new recurring care hours in coordination with the administrator. Prepare a weekly outreach schedule and identify priorities for the following week. Recommend adjustments based on results and feedback. Performance Expectations Success will be evaluated through both relationship-building activity and business results, including: New referral relationships established. Consistent contact with existing referral partners. Qualified inquiries generated. Assessments scheduled and completed. New clients who begin services. New recurring, staffed care hours. Timely follow-up and accurate reporting. Specific goals will be established with the administrator based on the assigned territory, available staffing, and service capacity. Required Qualifications At least two years of successful experience in healthcare sales, home care marketing, hospice outreach, senior living sales, or a closely related field. A demonstrated track record of generating referrals and developing new business. Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and follow-up skills. Ability to work independently, organize a territory, and manage multiple opportunities. Comfort discussing services and pricing with families and professional referral sources. Ability to maintain accurate records using spreadsheets, a CRM, or similar tracking tools. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and availability for regular local travel. Professional judgment when handling confidential client and business information. Preferred Qualifications Established relationships with healthcare and senior-service organizations in Cobb, Douglas, or Paulding County. Experience marketing home care services to private-pay clients and veterans. Familiarity with home care intake, assessments, and service coordination. Experience delivering presentations to healthcare professionals and community groups. Associate's or bachelor's degree in marketing, business, healthcare administration, communications, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for a degree. Professional Standards The specialist must communicate honestly about Arose's services and availability, protect confidential information, and follow company policies. Clinical questions, eligibility decisions, and care recommendations must be directed to the appropriate administrator or healthcare professional. Work Environment This is primarily a field-based position with administrative time for scheduling, follow-up, and reporting.
