Job Description

Our Insurance Specialist Internship offers a dynamic opportunity for students seeking hands-on experience in one of the nation's most respected crop insurance companies. Interns will gain exposure to both the claims and marketing sides of the business through real-world projects, interactive classroom sessions, and mentorship from experienced professionals. This 360-degree internship includes: Field experience in claims adjustment and underwriting Marketing and customer engagement projects Team-based assignments and problem-solving Classroom instruction and interaction with senior leadership This internship runs from June to early August 2027 and is located in Johnston, Iowa . Ideal Candidates We are seeking self-motivated, energetic, and results-oriented students who are pursuing degrees related to agriculture and marketing, including:
Agriculture Related Degrees:
Agribusiness Agricultural Economics Agricultural Studies Agronomy Agricultural Systems Technology Agricultural Education Crop and Soil Science Agricultural Communications Marketing-Related Degrees:
Marketing Marketing Management Business Marketing Integrated Marketing Communications Digital Marketing Advertising and Marketing Communications Students who have completed their junior year are preferred. Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in one of the agriculture/marketing-related fields listed above Minimum 3.0 GPA required Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Willingness to travel locally as needed Eagerness to learn new systems, contribute to projects, and grow professionally
