Full-Year, Part-Time (Hourly, Non-Exempt)
Contract:
Non-Affiliated Administrator - Contract Addendum A Reports to: Executive Director of Fund Development & Marketing Non-Affiliated Administrator Benefits & Health Insurance This position is a full-year (250 days + 10 paid holidays), part-time (20 hours/week) position within the Fund Development & Marketing Department. The base wage for 2026/27 is $24.29/hour and is eligible for a degree, longevity (based on previous public school experience in a similar position), and technology stipend.
General Summary:
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting in efforts within the Marketing Departments by providing administrative support to both departments. The Marketing Specialist reports to the Executive Director of Fund Development & Marketing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support TCAPS' marketing and communications initiatives and schedules, including assisting with the development of marketing and communication materials such as brochures, newsletters, posters and digital content. Create engaging content on social media and monitor interactions, and evaluate analytics for ongoing success. Perform website editing to ensure accuracy and ADA compliance. Manage donor relations, sponsorships, and community partnerships. Maintain organized records of donations. Attend events on behalf of the department and district. Proof content for accuracy and in alignment with communication standards. Work on projects as assigned by the supervisor. Maintains acceptable and reliable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Degree or professional experience in communications, marketing, or public relations. Experience in social media marketing and advertising. Strong writing and editing skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team setting. Ability to be proactive and collaborative in a team setting. Must have a good command of the English language in order to provide effective phone, desk-side, and email support and communication. Must have the ability to listen and effectively communicate information and ideas to a diverse population. Ability to work irregular hours as needed. Ability to prioritize and multitask. Dependable, reliable, and protective of sensitive/confidential information.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Must be able to report to the office and maintain punctual attendance. Regular use of computer and other office equipment. Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information. Occasionally move supplies weighing up to 20 lbs. Ability to drive to various locations throughout the district.
Environmental Conditions:
This is a largely sedentary assignment, with most of the duties performed on a computer or phone in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Work Schedules:
25 hours per week with occasional evening and weekend hours.

This is a year-round position.
