Job Description

Job Summary ArcelorMittal Tubular Products is seeking a highly analytical and business-focused Marketing Specialist to support our North American commercial and leadership teams. This role plays a critical part in driving strategic decision-making through commercial analytics, market intelligence, forecasting, and performance reporting, with a primary focus on our Automotive portfolio. The successful Marketing Specialist candidate will transform complex business data into actionable insights, helping identify growth opportunities, optimize performance, and support strategic planning. Working closely with stakeholders across our North American operations, this individual will leverage programs such as SAP and IBP, and other business intelligence tools to provide meaningful analysis that influences commercial strategy and business outcomes. Responsibilities Analytics & Reporting
  • Create, maintain, and distribute commercial dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports using SAP, IBP, and other business systems.
  • Prepare accurate, consistent monthly and quarterly reporting packages for leadership and commercial teams, with clear, actionable insights.
  • Partner cross-functionally to investigate variances and discrepancies across facilities. Automotive Portfolio Analysis
  • Evaluate automotive customer performance, quoted versus current business, win/loss activity, and growth opportunities.
  • Track shipments, inventory, forecasts, and customer scorecards to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations that support our AMTP strategy. Market Intelligence & Strategic Analysis
  • Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to inform commercial strategy and business planning.
  • Monitor automotive, manufacturing, economic, and industry trends and maintain market forecasts and strategic outlooks.
  • Develop executive presentations, market updates, and strategic summaries that highlight key trends, opportunities, and risks. Data Management & Business Intelligence
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and business opportunities.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across commercial reporting systems and databases.
  • Enhance reporting processes, analytical tools, and business intelligence capabilities.
  • Identify ways to apply automation, AI, and emerging technologies to improve reporting efficiency and decision-making.
  • Support AMTP market updates, industry summaries, and customer-facing performance materials.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; specialization in Business, Analytics, or Data Science preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate findings into actionable insights. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI experience is a plus. Experience with
SAP, SAP
IBP, business intelligence platforms, or similar reporting tools preferred. Self-motivated and able to independently research evolving trends, identify patterns, and develop insights. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. Manufacturing, automotive, steel, or industrial market experience preferred.
