The Director, Product Management takes strategic ownership of the Digital Lending Platform. Specifically, the Director, Product Management will own the research & strategy stage as well as lead the progressive elaboration process including feature analysis & business scope. The PD is responsible for the digital platform's roadmap. Before the Agile team builds it properly, the Director, Product Management ensures it is the right thing to do. How You'll Contribute:
Research & Strategy The Director, Product Management is responsible for the digital platform's competitive analysis. Moreover, customer research and validation are core competencies including conducting market research through on-going visits with customers and prospects. In collaboration with a UX Designer, the Director, Product Management is responsible persona development, journey mapping, rapid prototyping, and the EPIC business case. Progressive Elaboration As agile teams are sprinting, the Director, Product Management in collaboration with a Development Architect is working on EPIC creation, acceptance criteria and portfolio architecture (Feature Analysis). Moreover, the Director, Product Management leads high level business design, rapid prototyping, and t-shirt sizing with assistance from a UX designer. (Business Scope). The Director, Product Management serves as an escalation path. If further clarification on any business-related functionality and rules cannot be answered by the Product Owner, then the issue is escalated to the Product Manager. Roadmap & Product Pricing Ensures visibility and accuracy of the digital platform's roadmap. Prioritization of EPICs and works with Dev Architect to understand the technical dependencies. Great Fit:
Education B.A or B.S degree required M.B.A degree preferred Experience Success as Product Manager, Product Owner or Sr. Business Analyst developing or launching new features A minimum of six years' experience in software, system and/or business analysis Knowledge of financial industry and/or credit union operations Your Strengths & Expertise Strong Soft Skills to quickly gain the support of internal, clients and stakeholders Ability to interface with credit union and internal management for the purpose of creating business plans Strong organizational skills with ability to develop strategies, set objectives, and manage to results Proactive leadership style to identify opportunities and work across organization Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority Must be able to travel 20% of the time Bring your ideas, your curiosity, and your unique perspective. We offer competitive compensation designed to recognize the value, experience, and contributions each team member brings to Origence. Base pay is determined by factors including experience, geographic location, and internal equity, and eligible positions may participate in our annual bonus program.
