•$100K Remote No Reference 511716 Contact name Zoe Huse Job description Our client is seeking an Apparel Designer to focus on Missy Wovens (Private Label

•Macy's Experience) for a major department store customer. This role is ideal for someone with strong current or recent Macy's experience, a deep understanding of the Missy customer, and the ability to take product from concept through final execution. This is a collaborative position working closely with merchandising, product development, and production to create commercially successful collections.

What You'll Be Doing:

Design trend-right Missy Wovens (Private Label) collections from concept through final execution

Create sketches, CADs, color stories, and seasonal design presentations

Research market trends, competition, and new opportunities

Partner closely with merchandising and product development on line planning and product strategy

Develop fabrics, trims, color palettes, and silhouette direction

Attend fittings and collaborate on garment construction, fit, and execution

Ensure product aligns with customer needs, brand positioning, and business goals

Manage multiple projects and seasonal deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Work cross-functionally throughout the design and development process

What They're Looking For:

Strong current or recent Macy's experience required

Experience designing within Missy Wovens

Proven ability to create commercially successful product for department store customers

Strong sketching, CAD, and presentation skills

Strong understanding of fabrications, garment construction, fit, and product development

Ability to identify trends and translate them into customer-right product

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
