Job Description Our client, a leading media and entertainment organization, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the implementation of a modern rights and licensing management platform. This role will play a critical part in a large-scale technology transformation initiative focused on rights administration, content licensing, royalty management, and intellectual property workflows. The ideal candidate brings deep experience with rights management systems, strong product management expertise, and the ability to partner across business and technology teams to deliver complex enterprise solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead business requirements gathering and product discovery activities for a rights management platform implementation. Define product strategy, roadmap, and requirements to support licensing, intellectual property, and royalty management processes. Serve as a subject matter expert on rights-related business workflows and technology solutions. Partner closely with engineering teams throughout the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements through deployment. Facilitate collaboration among business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to ensure successful project execution. Manage product delivery using a combination of Agile and traditional project methodologies, as appropriate. Maintain and prioritize product backlogs, user stories, and requirements documentation using Jira and Confluence. Identify and manage impacts to downstream systems and business processes throughout the implementation. Support organizational change management, user adoption, and operational readiness efforts associated with the platform rollout. Hands-on experience implementing or enhancing rights management platforms such as Rightsline, Vistex, or similar enterprise rights/licensing solutions. Strong knowledge of intellectual property, content rights, licensing, royalties, or related business domains. Experience leading products through the full SDLC in complex enterprise environments. Working knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies. Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and related product management tools. Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into clear product requirements and technical solutions. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills. Stable work history with a track record of successful long-term engagements and project ownership. Experience supporting large-scale platform migrations, system modernization efforts, or enterprise software transformations. Background in media, entertainment, publishing, sports, licensing, or intellectual property-focused industries. Experience integrating enterprise platforms with downstream operational and financial systems.
