This role collaborates cross-functionally with design, sales, sourcing, production, and warehousing teams to ensure products align with brand strategy, market trends, customer needs, and financial goals. Key Responsibilities Manage the apparel product lifecycle from concept to delivery. Partner with design and sales teams to develop seasonal product assortments. Conduct market research and analyze fashion trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity. Create and maintain product calendars, line plans, and development timelines. Coordinate with overseas and domestic vendors, factories, and sourcing teams. Monitor costing, pricing, margins, and profitability targets. Review samples, fittings, fabrics, trims, and garment construction details. Ensure product quality, compliance, and on-time production delivery. Collaborate with sales team on product launches and seasonal strategies. Track product performance and recommend opportunities for improvements or future development. Maintain accurate product data, specifications, and documentation. Support inventory planning and forecasting initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Product Development, or related field preferred. 7-10 years of experience in apparel product management, merchandising, or product development. Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, fit, and production processes. Experience working with overseas factories and sourcing partners. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PLM systems. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Knowledge of current fashion and retail market trends. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Experience with private label or wholesale apparel brands. Ability to balance creativity with business objectives. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and execution. Work Environment Fast-paced apparel or fashion industry environment. May require travel for vendor meetings, trade shows, or factory visits.
