Product Manager
Job Description
The Product Manager is responsible for managing assigned physical consumer products from concept through launch. This role works with cross-functional teams to support product development, maintain timelines, manage product information, and ensure products meet cost, quality, margin, and business requirements. The Product Manager will also support new product ideas, line extensions, product updates, and post-launch reviews. Responsibilities Manage assigned products from concept through production, launch, and post-launch review. Maintain development timelines, milestones, deliverables, and product status updates. Prepare product briefs that outline features, positioning, packaging, pricing, and product requirements. Review concepts, prototypes, samples, packaging, specifications, and supporting materials. Support new product ideas, line extensions, product enhancements, and assortment updates. Monitor product costs, pricing, margin, quality, and feasibility throughout development. Coordinate with Design, Sourcing, Quality, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other business partners. Support products through development reviews and approval milestones. Ensure product specifications, claims, packaging details, licensing information, and documentation are complete and accurate. Maintain accurate product data, pricing matrices, specifications, and development materials. Identify risks, follow up on open items, and escalate issues when needed. Review product performance and support recommendations for updates, improvements, transitions, or discontinuations. Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in physical consumer product management, product development, or a related role. Experience supporting products from concept through production and market launch. Experience preparing product briefs, specifications, pricing information, or product-development documentation. Working knowledge of product costing, pricing, margin, and retail positioning. Ability to manage multiple products, timelines, and priorities. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify risks, resolve routine issues, and escalate when needed. Experience in consumer goods, home products, housewares, juvenile products, toys, hardlines, or another physical consumer-product category is helpful. Familiarity with product testing, compliance, licensing, sourcing, manufacturing, or structured product-development processes is a plus.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per yearBenefits:
