Job Description Overview:
Insight Global is seeking a Director of Crushing Products to join a global manufacturer of mining products located in Lexington, Kentucky. The Director of Crushing Products will own the global product portfolio, driving strategy, lifecycle execution, and market competitiveness to deliver profitable growth. This role leads roadmap development, voice-of-customer integration, and disciplined NPD governance to ensure products meet evolving market demands across mining and aggregates. By aligning cross-functional teams and strengthening commercial readiness, this leader ensures high-performing, differentiated products that maximize installed base value and aftermarket performance. Day to
Day:
  •  Own and manage the global crushing product portfolio, including lifecycle tracking, gap analysis, and profitability performance
  •  Develop and execute short
  • and long-term product roadmaps aligned to strategic growth objectives
  •  Lead Voice of Customer (VOC) processes, translating customer and dealer feedback into actionable product improvements
  •  Drive product competitiveness through TCO analysis, pricing strategy, and competitive benchmarking
  •  Govern New Product Development (NPD) using stage-gate processes, ensuring prioritization and cross-functional alignment
  •  Oversee product validation including field testing, reference sites, and performance verification in real-world applications
  •  Ensure safety, reliability, and application fit are embedded in all product designs
  •  Partner with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to execute product initiatives
  •  Enable go-to-market readiness including sales tools, training, and product messaging across regions and dealers
  •  Monitor new product launches and track post-launch performance against financial and operational targets
  •  Support forecasting by providing inputs on lifecycle transitions, demand drivers, and product availability
  •  Drive aftermarket strategy by ensuring products are designed for serviceability and lifecycle profitability
  •  Manage capital and development investments (CapEx, testing infrastructure, demo equipment) to support validation and growth
  •  Lead quarterly Product Health Scorecard reviews to assess portfolio performance and identify improvement opportunities
