Product Development Innovation Lead Overview Right Rope is a fast-growing, continuous-improvement-minded rope manufacturing company, passionate about making the highest quality rope in the world. As we grow, we are looking for motivated, conscientious people to join our team and help design, develop and manufacture world-class rope for arborists and forestry professionals, boating and marine applications, electrical contractors, search and rescue operations, industrial rigging and lifting, recreation, and much more. Responsibilities The Product Development Innovation Lead will work hands-on with the founders and operations team to quickly bring world-class rope products to market. You will learn about rope and the manufacturing process by becoming skilled at programming, operating, and optimizing the machines involved in the rope manufacturing process. This hands-on experience will enable the development and optimization of the production side of product development. You will learn and understand the industries we serve and create the products and improvements needed. You will also learn to operate our 250,000 pound break-test machine to test and improve the results of your work. This is a new position and you will be the first person in your department. Over the next few years, your work, combined with business growth, will create the need to hire, train, and lead a team of people driving product development. The Product Development Innovation Lead should be eager to demonstrate leadership and fast growth in their department. Schedule Full-time, 40 hours / week 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Alternative and flexible schedules may be available, as well as some hybrid work. Compensation $75k - $120k+ with some form of variable comp and bonus structure driven by your ability to achieve results.
