0-2 Years Job Description We are seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Product Analyst to join our team in Newark, NJ . The ideal candidate will support Product Managers and cross-functional teams by analyzing product data, understanding user behavior, gathering requirements, and providing insights to improve product performance and user experience. Key Responsibilities Analyze product data and user behavior to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Monitor key product metrics such as user engagement, adoption, retention, conversion, and feature usage. Assist Product Managers with product research, feature planning, and product roadmap activities. Gather, document, and refine business and product requirements. Assist in creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation. Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. Write basic SQL queries to extract and analyze data. Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify user pain points and improvement opportunities. Support A/B testing, feature analysis, and measurement of new product releases. Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, QA teams, and other stakeholders. Assist with market and competitor research. Present findings and actionable insights to internal stakeholders. Required Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Basic knowledge of SQL. Understanding of product metrics and user behavior analysis. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence. Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills Experience with Power BI or Tableau. Familiarity with Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics. Basic understanding of A/B testing and experimentation. Knowledge of funnels, conversion, retention, engagement, and user journeys. Basic knowledge of Python is a plus. Internship, academic project, or prior experience in Product Analytics, Business Analysis, or Data Analysis.
