Job Description
Bring your engineering leadership to a mission-critical product development environment in Newark, NY, where complex electromechanical work moves from concept through production and results are backed by a culture of safety, continuous improvement, teamwork, execution, and accountability. In this New Products Development Manager opportunity, you'll lead multidisciplinary efforts, manage shifting priorities, and drive accountability across multiple concurrent projects. Qualifications and responsibilities for this New Products Development Manager position include: 5+ years of engineering leadership with strong technical depth and multidisciplinary product-development experience. Bachelor's degree required; battery, energy, medical device, government/defense, and regulated manufacturing backgrounds preferred. Lead 8-10 multidisciplinary staff while balancing approximately 15 concurrent projects. Own complex electromechanical products from concept through production. Drive results as a credible change leader who holds the team accountable. Manage constantly shifting priorities across active projects. Coordinate within a broader engineering organization spanning Newark, Houston, Canada, and the UK. Occasional travel as needed.
