  • Your role and responsibilities
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the broader IBM product organization to help support the portfolio and the business.
  • Become an expert in IBM's product management methodologies, design thinking, and new product introduction. Support product teams in defining product requirements, user stories, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, and sales) to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Analyze competitors, market trends, and customer feedback to identify new product opportunities.
Product Managers navigate customer outcomes, business impacts, and functional trade-offs. You should be a good communicator and will be expected to collaborate well with others across multiple project areas. As a cross-portfolio Product Manager for IBM, you will play a vital role in assisting with projects spanning a broad range of the IBM Z and LinuxONE portfolio. You will help curate insights from interviews with existing and potential customers that flow into the Idea Hub and engage product teams to progress them. This is an exciting opportunity to learn the ropes of product management, gain deep market experience, and contribute to the success of our products.
  • Required technical and professional expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business.
  • Experience in Product Management or equivalent practical experience building or deploying products.
  • Experience implementing Agile practices and Design Thinking.
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and business analysis skills.
  • Ability to work from the office at least 3 days a week.
  • Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Track record of high-quality, self-directed, and timely execution.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Technical expertise and the ability to communicate, collaborate, and build trust with stakeholders.
  • Experience with technology.
