We are seeking a Product Lead to join our organization on a contract basis. This role focuses on driving product vision, managing delivery roadmaps, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions. 5+ years leading or mentoring product, engineering or cross-functional teams What you would do Typical responsibilities could include: Defining and communicating product vision, strategy and roadmap to stakeholders across the organization Creating and refining user stories, managing backlog prioritization and guiding the refinement process in Agile environments Collaborating with engineering, design and operations teams to translate product requirements into deliverables Analyzing metrics and user feedback to inform product decisions and measure success against business objectives Managing stakeholder expectations, gathering requirements and ensuring alignment on priorities and timelines Leading cross-functional product initiatives and driving adoption of new features or processes Mentoring and supporting product team members or junior colleagues on product thinking and delivery practices What you could bring Most roles of this type require the following: Must-have 10-15 years of experience in product management, product ownership, or equivalent product-focused roles 5+ years leading or managing product, engineering or cross-functional teams Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies, user story creation and backlog management Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills Proficiency with Jira or similar product management and tracking tools Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related field Authorization to work in the United States Nice-to-have Certification in Agile or Product Management (CSPO, Pragmatic Marketing) Experience in SaaS, fintech or enterprise software environments Track record of launching products or significant features that drove measurable business impact Experience with OKR (Objectives and Key Results) frameworks or similar goal-setting methodologies What roles of this type could offer Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role: Competitive contract rate of $560 - $800 per day based on experience Opportunity to shape product direction and influence organizational strategy Scope to work across diverse teams and industries, driving innovation and customer value Potential for scope expansion into longer-term engagements or permanent opportunities, where supported by performance and business need Flexibility to contribute your expertise while maintaining work-life balance Exposure to cross-functional challenges and development of leadership skills through mentorship and collaboration About Specialist Staffing Group Specialist Staffing Group connects talented professionals with organizations seeking to build and scale high-performing teams.
