Product Manager Residential & Commercial Appliances

Overview We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the development of next-generation residential and commercial appliance products. This role will drive end-to-end product ownership—from consumer insight and concept development to product execution and commercialization. This position sits at the intersection of consumer needs, product design, and innovations and will play a key role in defining future product platforms. Key Responsibilities 1. Consumer Insight & Market Strategy Develop deep understanding of consumer behavior and unmet needs across residential and commercial appliance categories Analyze category trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify whitespace opportunities Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into clear product opportunities and strategic direction Partner with research and analytics agents to validate consumer hypotheses and product concepts 2. Product Strategy & Portfolio Development Define product vision, positioning, and roadmap for assigned categories or platforms Develop product requirements including features, performance targets, pricing strategy, and user experience goals Ensure alignment between consumer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility 3. Product Development Leadership (End-to-End Ownership) Collaborate with engineering, industrial design, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver products on time and on budget Drive key product decisions including architecture, feature prioritization, and cost-performance tradeoffs 4. Go-to-Market Execution Define product positioning, messaging, and launch strategy Support development of go-to-market materials including packaging, sell-in decks, training content, and retail storytelling 5. Product Lifecycle & Portfolio Optimization Monitor product performance post-launch including sales, margin, customer feedback, and quality metrics Maintain structured product roadmap and portfolio tracking across categories and regions Drive continuous improvement based on consumer and market feedback Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Innovation, or related roles (home/commercial kitchen appliances industry or small kitchen appliances industry preferred) Strong ability to connect consumer insights with product design and business outcomes Experience working in cross-functional environments with engineering, design, and supply chain teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) Bachelor's degree required; engineering, business, or design background preferred Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20-30% Desired working location: San Jose, CA, Richardson, TX, or WFH from Kentucky.

Pay:

$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
