Job Description Product Manager #3621- 7 Months Korea Training for F/T Permanent Utah position. Only US Green Card holders and US citizens accepted. No other Visa or student Visas considered. Korean language skills preferred. We are seeking a highly capable Product Manager for power distribution equipment who will take ownership of product lifecycle management from a technical perspective. This role requires deep engineering understanding of power equipment and focuses on product reliability, quality management, failure analysis, and corrective action development. Product Manager is key technical bridge between Korea HQ R D and local engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure world-class product performance and reliability. Korean speaking skills preferred. $75K-$100K DOE Key Responsibilities Product Lifecycle & Technical Ownership

  •  Own and manage the technical specifications and performance standards for power equipment products
  •  Ensure consistent product quality across design, manufacturing, and field applications.
  •  Monitor product performance throughout the lifecycle and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Failure Analysis & Troubleshooting
  •  Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for product defects in manufacturing processes or field/customer applications.
  •  Perform technical troubleshooting of product failures using engineering principles.
  •  Coordinate cross-functional teams to identify failure mechanisms and corrective actions. Quality Improvement & Corrective Actions
  •  Develop short-term and long-term corrective and preventive action plans based on failure analysis.
  •  Drive implementation of quality improvements in collaboration with engineering, production, and quality teams.
  •  Ensure effectiveness verification and validation of corrective actions. Standardization & Documentation
  •  Establish and maintain documentation of failure cases, corrective actions, and improvement history.
  •  Drive standardization of quality improvement processes and engineering practices.
  •  Support continuous product quality monitoring and preventive quality initiatives. Cross-functional & Global Collaboration
  •  Act as a technical liaison between Korea HQ R D and local US engineering/quality teams.
  •  Facilitate clear technical communication across multicultural and cross-functional teams.
  •  Support alignment between product design intent and manufacturing execution. Education
  •  BS/Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline. Required Skills
  •  Strong understanding of power equipment design, structure, and operating principles (MCCB, ACB or similar).
  •  Ability to perform basic electrical and mechanical testing (e.g., continuity test, insulation resistance, operational performance tests).
  •  Strong engineering problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  •  Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional and multinational environment.
  •  Proficiency in MS Office and basic engineering tools (CAD, drawing interpretation). Preferred Qualifications
  •  Experience in product engineering, R D, manufacturing engineering, or quality engineering in power equipment or electrical manufacturing industries.
  •  Strong knowledge of quality tools such as
FMEA, 8D

Report, Root Cause Analysis methodologies.

  •  Experience with UL standards (UL 489, UL 1066 or similar) and
ISO 9001

Quality Management Systems.

  •  Experience working in manufacturing systems such as ERP, PLM, or MES.
  •  Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  •  Bilingual capability in Korean and English preferred for direct collaboration with Korea HQ RE&D teams.
Qualifications:
Education
  •  BS/Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
