Job Description

Warp 9 Racing is looking for a mechanically skilled, hands-on Project Assistant to work directly with our product designer on prototype parts, wheels, fitment testing, and new product development for dirt bikes and electric motorcycles. This is not a desk job. You'll be working directly on motorcycles, installing and removing parts, testing prototypes, identifying fitment issues, and helping refine products before they go into production. Motorcycle experience is required. If you are not comfortable working on dirt bikes or motorcycles, this position will not be a good fit. Responsibilities Test-fit prototype parts and wheels on new motorcycle platforms Install and remove components accurately and repeatedly during testing Assist with prototype development, testing, and product refinement Identify and document fitment issues, clearances, tolerances, and necessary revisions Compare prototype components to OEM parts and specifications Work directly with the product designer to troubleshoot problems and improve designs Keep parts, tools, testing notes, and projects organized Help move products from the prototype stage toward production Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on motorcycle experience Experience working on dirt bikes, electric motorcycles, or similar powersports vehicles Comfortable disassembling and reassembling motorcycle components Detail-oriented and able to notice small fitment or tolerance differences Able to follow measurements, instructions, and testing procedures accurately Reliable, organized, and able to work independently Good problem-solving skills Clear communicator who can accurately explain and document issues Comfortable using basic hand tools and shop equipment Experience with motorcycle wheels, suspension, brakes, hubs, spacers, bearings, or aftermarket parts is a plus. Position Details Part-time On-site position $20/hour Work directly with Warp 9 Racing's product development team Opportunity to be involved in developing new products for dirt bikes and electric motorcycles If you enjoy working on motorcycles, figuring out how things fit together, testing new ideas, and helping turn prototypes into finished products, we'd like to hear from you.

$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 30.0 per week
