Contract We are currently looking for a Wireless Communications Research Engineer with strong expertise in 5G/6G technologies, 3GPP standardization, and advanced wireless communication research . Job Summary The selected candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research and standardization activities related to 5G NR, 6G, Connected Mobility, and Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) technologies. This role involves participating in 3GPP standardization efforts, developing technical contributions, creating invention disclosures and patents, conducting advanced wireless communication research, and collaborating with internal and external research partners. The position offers opportunities to influence future wireless standards and contribute to technical publications. Key Responsibilities Contribute to 3GPP 5G/6G standardization activities, particularly within RAN working groups. Develop technical proposals, standards contributions, and invention disclosures. Participate in domestic and international standardization meetings. Lead and conduct research projects focused on connected mobility and next-generation wireless technologies. Create patents, technical reports, and academic publications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external research organizations. Present research findings and technical recommendations to leadership and stakeholders. Required Qualifications Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience in wireless communication research and development. Hands-on involvement in 3GPP standardization activities (RAN1/RAN2 preferred). Strong knowledge of 4G LTE, 5G NR, Layer 1, and Layer 2 protocols. Experience with Connected Mobility, V2X, or ISAC technologies. Strong patent and invention disclosure background. Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills. Ability to travel internationally for standards meetings. NIT01
