Required Skills:
- 5+ years in GTM, marketing, or communications program management, ideally within B2B, Tech or a research-driven organization
- Proven ownership of event/conference marketing end-to-end — budget, vendor management, booth strategy, and post-event ROI reporting with a clear recommendation
- Experience running external comms/PR workflows, including multi-stakeholder approval sequencing (Legal, Comms, executive sign-off)
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills — able to brief and partner effectively with Design, Comms, Legal, Social, and regional (INTL/U.S.) Marketing teams
- Comfort defining KPIs and success criteria up front, then reporting against them with a data-backed continue / continue-with-changes / discontinue call
- Demonstrated ability to build reusable systems — templates, trackers, boilerplate — designed for someone else to run, not just one-time campaign execution
- Experience building trust and communicating with senior (VP-level) stakeholders
- High tolerance for ambiguity and self-direction — this is the first dedicated resource for this function, so the role requires standing up process from scratch rather than inheriting onePreferred / Nice to Have
- Familiarity with the academic/AI research conference circuit (e.g., NeurIPS) and grant-funded research partnership structures (1-2+ years)
- Experience managing relationships with external academic stakeholders — Principal Investigators, university PR/communications teams
- Background in AI/ML, fintech, or another research-driven tech environment (3-5+ years)

IPS 2025
(detail below), the CW will:
- Define KPIs and success criteria for each conference up front so spend and booth strategy can be evaluated against the right target Drive the entire planning process for each conference end-to-end as the single owner coordinating vendor, budget, and internal stakeholders
- Plan and manage booth strategy and logistics Work with design an on-site engagement moment based on what's shown to drive traffic and dwell time Report post-conference ROI across the full funnel and bring a clear continue / continue-with-changes / discontinue recommendationc. AI Research - External Facing
- The CW will own end-to-end execution of AIRC's external comms and PR motion, modeled on the
IFRA FY27
announcement as the first cycle of what should become a repeatable annual playbook.
The CW will:
- Own the end-to-end announcement workflow for AIRC milestones (grant cohorts, major papers, research partnerships): drafting comms plans, sequencing approvals across program owner/Comms/Legal/executive sign-off, and tracking status to publish date
- Manage PI and university relationships for grant-funded work: draft PI outreach letters, coordinate introductions to university PR/comms teams, and package ready-to-post kits (copy, links, tags, graphics) so partner institutions and PIs can amplify with minimal effort
- Coordinate the external channel mix — blog (with Comms), LinkedIn/X (with Social), and internal Slack/intranet — ensuring internal follows external same-day and every channel links back to one canonical story
- Build reusable assets — boilerplate language, an approval tracker template, PI/university outreach templates — so future AIRC announcements don't start from scratch
- Report post-launch metrics (reach, engagement, PI/university pickup) to AIRC and Foresight leadership Ensure the GTM execution and AI Conference execution have the same brand voice and channel calendar consistent across all three workstreams.
- Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.
- Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.
