Senior Research Engineer - Process Innovation Lead Dayton, OH | Full-Time | On-Site $100,000 - $130,000 + 8% Annual Bonus A global specialty chemicals company with nearly a century of innovation is seeking a Senior Research Engineer to lead process development and industrialization efforts across a range of chemical technologies. This is a high-ownership role driving both cost reduction and long-term process innovation within a well-resourced R D organization. What You Will Do Lead multi-functional project teams from concept through manufacturing implementation Develop and scale new process technologies from lab to pilot to production Identify emerging technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives Partner with manufacturing and engineering on plant trials and industrialization plans Mentor technicians and junior researchers supporting your projects What You Bring Degree in Chemical, Materials, or Mechanical Engineering or related field 7+ years of experience in chemical engineering, process development, or scale-up Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to work independently with little to no direct supervision Solid understanding of safety and environmental procedures Compensation and Benefits $100,000 - $130,000 base salary 8% annual bonus Heavily company-subsidized health insurance with very low employee cost Stable, growing organization with a long track record of investment in its Ohio operations
