3-5 years Position Overview Wildfire is looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Organic Search Optimization (OSO), including on-page, technical, local, and content development for SEO and branding, along with a strong understanding of how search is evolving through GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization). This role will have a strong focus on content development and workflow management, working closely with writers, clients, account teams, project managers, and developers to develop and execute effective SEO/GEO strategies. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute SEO strategies across on-page, technical, local, and content SEO. Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, technical audits, and on-page optimization. Develop SEO-focused content strategies, briefs, and recommendations. Manage content workflows between writers, clients, account teams, developers and project managers. Review and optimize content for search intent, keyword saturation, rankings, usability, brand voice and overall quality. Optimize websites built on WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow. Work with developers to communicate and implement technical SEO recommendations. Develop GEO/AEO strategies to improve visibility, rankings, mentions, and citations within AI-powered search and LLMs. Monitor SEO and AI search performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Communicate SEO recommendations and strategies to clients and internal teams. Qualifications 3-5 years of professional OSO and SEO experience. Strong experience with on-page, technical, local, and content dev for SEO. Hands-on experience with WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow. Understanding of
GEO, AEO, AI
search, and LLM visibility. Strong writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills. Comfortable working with clients, account teams, project managers, writers, and developers. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Self-starter, disciplined and comfortable working independently in a remote environment. Experience with GA4, Google Business Profiles and Google Search Console.
Bonus Experience Experience with:
SEMrush Moz BrightEdge Otterly.

AI Conductor BrightLocal Screaming Frog Schema / structured data Familiarity with basic HTML and CSS. The Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who knows how to actually do SEO and GEO/AEO, not just someone familiar with SEO terminology or tools. You should be analytical, organized, curious about the changing search landscape, and comfortable turning SEO insights into actionable strategies and results for clients.
