Job Description

Position Summary :
Responsible for managing the loanDepot social media channel ecosystem in support of leadership objectives, building our brand and employer brand narrative, and driving engagement across all platforms. We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented professional who knows the social landscape well and can leverage industry best practices, to be part of building a truly spectacular social presence.
Responsibilities :
Provides analysis and recommendations on social media strategies that align with organizational initiatives and goals. Schedules and publishes, accurately and in a timely manner, social media content across various social channels. Uses a content management platform (Hootsuite) to manage, monitor and analyze the performance of our content. Actively engages with relevant social content posted by others (employees, partners, etc.) including monitoring and addressing comments. Coordinates social listening duties with the customer care team to ensure timely response to all customer inquiries. Ideates creative social media content, tapping into culturally relevant moments that align strategically with loanDepot's with our brand and company messaging. Performs basic editing of social media content, including short-form videos and photos. Works closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, events, and business units, to execute social campaigns. Monitors the social landscape and elevates notable developments and trends to teams across the organization. Monitors how competitor brands use their social media channels, surfacing insights and opportunities for differentiation. Measures and reports impact of social media content and campaigns. Performs other duties and projects assigned.
Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree preferred and a minimum of two (2) + years of social media execution and content development experience. Experience in the Mortgage industry preferred. Deep understanding of the social media universe including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and TikTok, as well as social media management tools such as Hootsuite and the Meta business platform. Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Highly effective organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all tasks. Proficient with editing software including Adobe products such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, as well as video editing tools such as CapCut, Canva and IG Edits. Proficient skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to make decisions that have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and cross functional departments. Ability to work independently and drive projects forward while being an active participant in cross-functional efforts. Ability to think creatively and develop social media content and graphics, delivering high-quality, compelling, error-free work on time. Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules on a short-term and long-term basis. Ability to work with little supervision to accomplish tasks and perform duties. Why work for #teamloan
