Part-Time Social Media Video Sidekick (TikTok / Reels) - Folsom, CA I run Hydra Cup, a shaker bottle brand that's been on Amazon since 2012. Our newest product, ShakerShark, is the first shaker with a weighted-core whisk, and we're about to get loud on TikTok and Instagram. I'm looking for one person to make videos with me two days a week. Not a marketing agency, not a résumé contest. One person with good energy who gets short-form video and wants to have fun with it. Starts small on purpose. Where it goes from there depends a lot on you. What you'd actually do Brainstorm video ideas with me (trends, sounds, formats, what's working right now) Help shoot: hold the phone, set up shots, keep us moving Be on camera in some videos. You don't have to be a performer, just comfortable and yourself Help with basic edits and posting (CapCut-level is plenty) Tell me when an idea is bad. I want a second brain, not a yes-person Who this fits You're on TikTok and Instagram enough to know what's trending this week, not last year Good attitude, good vibe, shows up in a good mood. This matters more than anything on this list Reliable. Two days a week is the whole job, so those days count College student, recent grad, or anyone with a flexible schedule. Experience is nice, not required Bonus if you work out, meal prep, or drink protein shakes, since that's who we talk to What you get $27-37/hr for two days a week of work that's actually fun Real reps building a brand's social presence from close to zero, with actual products and a real budget Every video you make is portfolio material Flexible days, casual setup, no dress code, no corporate anything To apply Skip the cover letter.
Send me two things:
A short video (30 to 60 seconds, phone is fine, no editing needed) telling me who you are and why this sounds fun to you. Share a link, Drive or unlisted YouTube is easiest. Your social media handles. TikTok and Instagram at minimum, plus anything else you post on. Doesn't matter if they're small or if you've never posted for a brand. I just want to see how you show up online. If you truly can't do a video, a few honest sentences works, but video applicants go to the front of the line. I'd rather see personality than production. Real room to grow. This starts at two days a week, but the brand is scaling and I'm a one-person operation. If you're good and it clicks, this can turn into more days, more ownership, and running social for the whole brand.
