About the Role We are looking for a full-time Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist to support the daily marketing operations of a plastic surgery practice in Newport Beach. The main focus of this role is social media content, including filming, editing, organizing, and publishing content across our digital platforms. The right candidate should be comfortable capturing in-office content, editing short-form videos, and helping maintain a consistent and professional social media presence. This is not a freelance content creator position. We are looking for someone who can work in-office, follow processes, stay organized, support recurring marketing tasks, and contribute to the broader digital marketing operation. In addition to social media, this role will also support email marketing, simple website content updates, basic CRM organization, and other digital marketing tasks as needed. Training will be provided for practice-specific systems. Key Responsibilities Social Media, Filming & Content Film in-office social media content regularly, including provider content, patient education, behind-the-scenes footage, office moments, procedure-related content, and campaign material Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, stories, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and other social platforms Assist with planning, organizing, and publishing content across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms Help create and coordinate reels, stories, educational posts, before-and-after content, captions, and short-form video concepts Capture content opportunities during the workday and help turn them into usable social media material Organize photos, videos, captions, drafts, raw footage, and content assets Support Instagram, YouTube, and Vimeo uploads, including titles, descriptions, thumbnails, tags, and playlists Monitor and reply to social media comments and direct messages when needed Stay aware of social media trends, platform updates, hooks, captions, and content formats that may fit the practice Email & Basic CRM Support Help build, schedule, and review email campaigns Assist with newsletters, promotional campaigns, and patient communication campaigns Help organize contact lists, tags, campaign notes, and basic lead information Review basic campaign performance, including open rates, click rates, replies, and lead activity Help keep marketing lists, campaign records, and digital assets organized Website & Digital Marketing Support Make simple website content updates after training Upload and format blogs, procedure content, photos, videos, and before-and-after gallery content Assist with basic page edits, image updates, internal links, and content formatting Help organize landing page content, campaign assets, and digital marketing materials Support basic reporting from social media, email campaigns, CRM, and website analytics when needed Required Qualifications Experience filming and editing short-form social media content, including reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, or similar content Strong understanding of social media platforms and content presentation Ability to write and edit clear captions, email copy, and basic website content Comfortable learning and working across multiple digital platforms Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully Organized, reliable, and able to manage recurring tasks without constant reminders Comfortable working full-time in an in-office clinical environment Professional judgment when handling patient-related content and sensitive information Preferred Qualifications Experience with email marketing tools Experience making basic website content updates Basic understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Meta Ads Experience in aesthetics, plastic surgery, beauty, wellness, healthcare, or medical marketing is a plus Work Samples Please include examples of social media content you have created or helped create, such as reels, short-form videos, edited clips, captions, or posts for a brand, business, creator, or professional account. Practical Test Final candidates may be asked to complete a short filming and editing test so we can evaluate basic camera judgment, framing, pacing, and editing ability. Education A degree is not required. Hands-on experience, social media ability, digital fluency, organization, and consistent execution are more important than formal education.
