Job Description

Performs a variety of complex duties in support of administrative and academic projects/functions. Requires more extensive experience and subject matter expertise to be successful. May do advanced and complex research for department assigned to. Developing and working with contacts outside of the work unit is common.
Education:
Maintain a GPA of 2.0 or above
Experience:
Knowledge of Software Editing Programs (i.e.. Canva, Publisher, Adobe, Work, Excel) and Social Media sites (i.e.. Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook). Ability to produce quality fliers and photos, maintain constant updates to Social Media and Web-page, operate office equipment, multitask and work well with others.

Sample(s) of work will be required prior to employment. Experience with Canva and knowledge of Social Media highly recommended.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and design ASMVC event fliers vis Canva or other documents creation software. Maintain constant updates for ASMVC webpage, app, and social media sites. Create and manage registration forms for events. Attend, help facilitate, and participate in events hosted and/or sponsored by ASMVC/Student Activities, must include but not limited to 'College Hour' on Tuesdays/Thursdays from 12:50pm-1:50pm. Obtain and post photos from all events via Student Activities Office cell phone. Other duties as assigned. Duties and Responsibilities -

Jobs only available to Moreno Valley Students who have Moreno Valley College as their Home Campus. Must be enrolled in at least half-time units (6 units for Fall and Spring and 3 units for Winter and Summer). Must maintain a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.0. IF funded by Federal Work Study (FWS) Grant or Cal Works Work Study (CWS) grant, students must maintain eligibility for the FWS grant to maintain the position. Work Hours/Work Days for
Classified and Hourly Positions Only:
Hours will vary accordingly: Monday - Friday. May include Saturday hours with Supervisor approval. Hours will be agreed upon by supervisor and student upon offer of position. Student Employees are limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week and 8 hours per day.
