Job Description

About Us Lola + The Boys is a premium children's fashion brand founded in Chicago in 2016 by Irina Ovrutsky, a mom of three who couldn't find clothes bold enough for her kids. Ten years later we've dressed over a million kids worldwide, partner with Disney, Barbie, Hello Kitty, MLB, Hot Wheels and more, and we're expanding our retail footprint across the country. Every collection starts with one question: would my kids be excited to wear this? We move fast, we make a lot of content, and we have fun doing it. The Role You'll sit at the center of our social presence — capturing and publishing content daily, and building an influencer and UGC program designed to scale with us. This is a hands-on, in-office role working shoulder-to-shoulder with our CEO and marketing team. If you want to learn how a $50M+ DTC brand actually operates, you'll get a front-row seat. This is not a strategy-deck job. You'll be shooting on your phone in the showroom in the morning and building the systems that let our creator program grow 10x in the afternoon. What You'll Do Social Content & Community Capture daily content on-site — product, BTS, showroom, retail, team moments — and turn it into scroll-stopping TikToks, Reels, and Stories Own the content calendar across TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and emerging platforms Publish, caption, hashtag, and schedule; manage day-to-day posting cadence Respond to comments and DMs, and build real relationships with our community of moms and kids Track trends, sounds, and formats daily — and move fast enough to actually catch them Influencer & UGC Program Build our influencer and UGC program from the ground up — sourcing, outreach, onboarding, briefing, shipping, and follow-through Design the systems, templates, and workflows that let the program scale without breaking: repeatable briefs, tiered creator tracks, tracking, and clear performance benchmarks Recruit parent and kid creators who genuinely fit the brand, from micro-creators to larger partnerships Write clear creative briefs and hooks so creators deliver assets we can actually use Manage product seeding, gifting logistics, and creator agreements alongside the marketing team Organize and tag the content library so paid, email, and web teams can pull assets instantly Source whitelisting/Spark Ads permissions and feed top-performing creator content into our paid social engine Collaboration & Reporting Work directly with the CEO on founder-led and brand-voice content Support photo and video shoots — styling, prepping product, wrangling talent, capturing BTS Report weekly on content performance, creator ROI, and what's working (and honestly, what isn't) Partner with the paid media and email teams so social output feeds the full marketing engine What You Bring 1-3 years in social media, content creation, influencer/UGC marketing, or a portfolio that proves you can do this regardless of title Native fluency in TikTok and Instagram — you understand why something performs, not just that it did You can shoot and edit on your phone: CapCut, InShot, or equivalent, and it looks good Strong written voice — you can be funny, warm, and on-brand in 12 words Systems-minded and extremely organized — you build processes instead of relying on memory Comfortable being on camera and around kids on set Self-starter energy: you spot the content opportunity before someone assigns it to you Available on-site in our Chicago office five days a week Bonus Points Experience with Klaviyo, Canva, Figma, Later/Planoly, or creator management platforms Familiarity with Shopify and DTC e-commerce You've built or scaled a creator, influencer, or affiliate program before Basic photo/video editing beyond mobile (Premiere, Lightroom) You have your own following or personal content practice Why You'll Want This Direct access to and mentorship from a founder who built this from her kitchen table Real ownership — you'll build the influencer program, not inherit someone else's A brand with licensed partnerships, national retail growth, and 10 years of momentum Small team, fast decisions, no layers of approval between you and a great idea
Pay:
$55,000.00 per year
Benefits:
Employee discount Paid time off
