Join the MAWBY Team! The Marketing & Social Media Specialist serves as MAWBY and bigLITTLE's digital content creator and online community builder. This role is responsible for expanding brand visibility, driving engagement, and supporting digital marketing goals through effective storytelling and content execution. The specialist will create compelling social content that inspires audience interaction, encourages tasting room visits, and supports online and on-site wine sales. The specialist also provides critical administrative and marketing support across key functions of the business. This role supports day-to-day marketing execution, and cross-department coordination to ensure smooth and efficient workflows. The specialist will assist with marketing initiatives, fulfillment activities, and the development and administration of MAWBY and bigLITTLE wine clubs and future club programs. Marketing & Social Media Specialist - Position Goals and Responsibilities Creates original content (photos and videos) on existing platforms (Facebook and Instagram) with the latest digital technologies and social media trends Expresses the brands through both pictures and words Expands our reach and brand awareness on new platforms (TikTok, Youtube) Manages our company's digital image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals Meets and reports on metrics as laid out by Management Performs research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences Communicates with followers, responds to queries in a timely manner and monitors customer reviews Oversees social media accounts' design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, Linktree, avatars, etc) Suggests and implements new features to develop brand awareness, such as promotions and competitions Stays up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and application Support Fulfillment Manager daily or as needed, including custom label orders and club shipments Broadcast out event via local marketing platforms, ie. Tickers, TC Brief, Chambers, TC Tourism, etc. Actively support and attend event collaboration for offsite and onsite events Manage Tock, website and Google reservation hours and availability Manage marketing calendars ensuring they are accurate and up to date All Positions at MAWBY Job duties may vary depending the season and business needs Regular and consistent attendance is a requirement Follows all employment and safety policies and procedures Education / Experience / Skills Prior experience in sales and marketing Proven success in a previous position in customer service and problem solving Prior experience managing a Club in a similar retail environment preferred Knowledge of wine, sparkling wine, and/or ability to learn Strong knowledge of MAWBY and bigLITTLE products Experience using a variety of software apps or ability to learn - including UPS, Canva, Google Must be highly organized, able to multitask Strong background in social media marketing, relationship management, and social media management Proven experience of successful social media campaigns Experience using video/photography (original work) for posts Working Conditions Hours of work Approximate 75% marketing duties, including social media, 25% tasting room or event attendance Required to attend events on and off site, may include shifts on days that are typically scheduled off Hours of work are Monday-Friday, Tasting Room Hours/Office Hours or weekend hours may apply Shifts may vary during Fizz Club shipment months This position may be required to travel to events, some overnight stays may be required. This position requires that the employee sign a confidentiality agreement Physical Requirements Employees must be able to perform those tasks that are essential to the job, with or without reasonable accommodation This position is a variety of office and tasting room duties Frequent sitting/standing in one place Ability to focus, type, and use hands to reach and type Shipping, stocking, pouring and moving wine and Club orders does require lifting up to 25-50 pounds regularly Must be able to travel by car, sometimes longer distances Regularly required to operate a register and pour wine, hear and speak English to exchange information, and taste or smell wine; Frequent standing in one place as well as walking, reaching, and lifting (on feet during entire shift) in the tasting room Frequently required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, walk and reach with hands and arms
