The part-time Videographer & Digital Media Specialist position will aide and support in the campus expansion of the Jane S. Nelson Healthcare Training Facility and new programs at Williston State College through professional video production and digital storytelling. The PT Videographer & Digital Media Specialist will help create various advertisements showcased on many different media outlets to bring to life the various Healthcare programs and capture the WSC student experience.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and capture professional video highlighting the Jane S. Nelson Healthcare Training Facility
- Filming of labs, simulations, classrooms, equipment, faculty, and students to demonstrate the hands-on learning experience offered.
- Edit film captured into 30-45 second videos to be used for various media outlets.
- Build and maintain library of footage that can support recruitment, advertising, social media, and institutional storytelling.
- Coordinate filming schedules, locations, and participants with the Director of Marketing and campus partners.
- Ensure all digital content aligns with WSC's brand guidelines, tone, and messaging.
- Capture and edit video content for all other WSC academic programs, student experiences, and campus initiatives as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's Degree
- .Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
- Knowledge of video production, digital media, and marketing.
- Comfortable using content creation tools; Adobe Premier Pro, etc.
