Serve New Mexico is under Employment Services and serves as a pathway to employment. Interviews will be conducted within 10 days of the job closing. NMDWS participates in E-Verify. Why does the job exist? Responsible for creating and implementing cost-efficient and effective multi-media campaigns that represent the Serve New Mexico Commission and its programs and services. This position will be the outward facing POC for tabling request and speaking engagements while also coordinating the awareness campaign. How does it get done? Responsible for the creation and execution of an awareness campaign on behalf of the Serve New Mexico Commission. Responsible for complex production from storyboarding, shooting, and editing video content and graphics, that support the marketing and communication efforts of Serve NM. Responsible for maintenance of Serve New Mexico websites and social media accounts. Develop social media content and creative for all channels as well as measure the success of social media campaigns using detailed analytics. Developing ongoing social media content including static visual elements, videos, and written and edited copy. In cooperation with the marketing and communications team. Who are the customers? The Serve New Mexico Commission, AmeriCorps programs and members, New MexiCorps programs and participants, and the general public who are interested in volunteering or national service. Minimum Qualification Associates Degree in Publications, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, and/or related field and one (1) year of experience in public relations, mass communications, television, radio, print media, emergency communications, and/or emergency management. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling three (3) years may substitute for the required education and experience. Employment Requirements Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification within six (6) months of date of hire as a condition of continued employment. Travel is required for the position to include overnight stays. Working Conditions Work will be performed primarily in an office setting, but on occasion will be performed in the outdoors during all types of weather conditions.
