PimaOnline Assistant Media Producer, Quality Specialists, and PimaOnline Navigator Salary:

$16.50 / hour

Eligibility:

In order to be eligible to apply for this position, you MUST be eligible for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and be a current Pima Community College student. Students can complete the FAFSA at www.studentaid.gov. About the Role Working at the PimaOnline Campus places you at the center of a nationally recognized leader in online learning. This is a pooled position , meaning one application puts you in front of multiple virtual departments looking for tech-savvy, remote student talent to support our digital learning community.

Participating Roles Include:

LMS & eLearning Quality PimaOnline Duties & Responsibilities Digital Media Production (Assistant Media Producer): Provide support to the Digital Media Producer by creating and editing video subtitles for accessibility, assisting with video editing, and collaborating on special media projects. Course Quality Assurance (Quality Specialists): Provide support for the Director of Online Teaching Services by performing quality review processes for distance education courses and assisting with continuous course improvement projects. Virtual Student Navigation (PimaOnline Navigator): Assist and communicate with online students via phone, email, online navigation, and virtual meetings. Conduct live navigation sessions on-camera via YouTube, other video tools, and virtual meeting software and provide superior customer service from home (technology package provided: laptop, webcam, headphones, etc.).

Information Management:

Complete computer database entry and maintain accurate electronic records using automated systems and software to track student interactions and project progress.

Departmental Support:

Collaborate with remote supervisors and staff on special projects that promote online student success and resource awareness. Other Duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Communication:

Ability to provide clear, concise, and professional verbal and written communication in a 100% virtual environment.

Digital Literacy:

Drive to learn and utilize Microsoft Office programs, D2L (Brightspace), video meeting software, and modern web browsers. (Experience as an online student is preferred).

Organization & Time Management:

Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently, and remain highly dependable with your remote work schedule.

Interpersonal Skills:

A positive, cooperative attitude with the ability to build virtual relationships and maintain professional ethics and confidentiality.

Physical Ability:

Readiness to work from home independently and occasionally lift and exert up to 25 lbs of force if handling provided equipment.
