Job Description

We're looking for a motivated college student or recent graduate who wants real experience working in sports media. This isn't the type of internship where you'll be grabbing coffee or sitting in meetings all day. You'll be creating content, writing articles, editing videos, learning how digital publishing works, and helping grow an organic social media presence during the busiest time of the NFL season. If you're interested in sports journalism, content creation, social media, or broadcasting, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

Clip highlights from radio shows and video content using CapCut or similar software Post 1-2 videos per day to YouTube Shorts and TikTok Help grow our social media accounts through consistent content and creative ideas Write sports articles for our publishing partners Track what performs well and bring new ideas to the table in weekly content meeting

What We're Looking For:

Someone who follows Cleveland sports every day Basic video editing experience (CapCut is perfectly fine) Strong writing skills Reliable, organized, and willing to learn Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines What You'll Get Real bylines on national sports websites Hands-on experience covering an NFL season Experience creating social content that reaches thousands of sports fans Mentorship from professionals working in sports media every day A chance to build a portfolio that will actually help you land your next opportunity Sports Media internship, which is pretty cool in its own right

Location:

Cleveland, OH (Hybrid) Compensation This role is primarily compensated through freelance writing opportunities. Interns will have the opportunity to write up to 10 sports articles per month for our publishing partners, earning up to $300/month, with opportunities for additional bonuses monthly.
