Job Description
New Vision Health & Wellness is seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Marketing & Community Outreach Intern to help strengthen our brand, promote our services, and increase our visibility throughout the Greater Cleveland community. This internship is ideal for a college student or recent graduate studying marketing, communications, public relations, digital media, graphic design, business, or a related field. The selected intern will gain hands-on experience creating marketing content, supporting community outreach efforts, and helping promote a growing behavioral health organization. The intern will work directly with leadership and will have the opportunity to build a professional portfolio through real marketing projects. Responsibilities Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms. Develop flyers, brochures, event materials, and digital graphics using Canva or similar design platforms. Help create and maintain a social media content calendar. Draft captions, announcements, newsletters, and promotional materials. Assist with promoting New Vision's programs, events, employment opportunities, and community initiatives. Research community events, partnership opportunities, and outreach opportunities. Support communication with community organizations, schools, businesses, and referral partners. Assist with updating the company website and Google Business Profile. Take photographs or videos at approved office and community events. Monitor social media engagement and help track marketing results. Help maintain organized contact lists and marketing files. Participate in brainstorming sessions for campaigns and outreach strategies. Qualifications Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program in marketing, communications, public relations, digital media, graphic design, business, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with major social media platforms. Basic experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools is preferred. Creative, dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple assignments. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Interested in behavioral health, community engagement, nonprofit work, healthcare, or social-impact marketing. Ability to work in person at our Euclid office as needed.
