[Part-Time] Position Overview We are seeking a creative, organized, and knowledgeable Cannabis Social Media Specialist to manage and grow our brand's online presence across multiple social media platforms. The ideal candidate understands cannabis culture, industry trends, and digital marketing strategies. This role is responsible for creating engaging content, building community engagement, increasing brand awareness, and supporting business growth through social media management. Key Responsibilities Manage daily operations of social media accounts including Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok (where applicable), LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms. Create, schedule, publish, and monitor engaging content including graphics, videos, stories, reels, and promotional campaigns. Develop and execute social media strategies that align with company goals and brand identity. Grow and engage online communities by responding to comments, direct messages, reviews, and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Monitor cannabis industry trends, competitor activity, and social media best practices to identify new opportunities. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and creative teams to develop campaigns, product launches, and promotional content. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as follower growth, engagement rates, reach, website traffic, and conversions. Generate monthly performance reports and provide recommendations for improvement. Ensure all content complies with cannabis advertising regulations, platform guidelines, and state/local laws. Coordinate influencer partnerships, brand ambassadors, and user-generated content campaigns. Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels. Qualifications Experience managing social media accounts for cannabis, lifestyle, wellness, retail, or consumer brands. Strong understanding of major social media platforms and content strategies. Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or other content creation tools. Strong writing, editing, and communication skills. Ability to analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies based on performance data. Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Photography, videography, and video editing skills. Familiarity with cannabis products, dispensary operations, and cannabis consumer demographics.
