Job Description
As part of Learfield Studios, the Social Content Specialist plays a key on-site role at the University, supporting the development and production of original and branded content in collaboration with the athletics department. Reporting to the Supervising Producer and working closely with the local sales team, this role partners with athletic department content teams, school production staff and Learfield colleagues to ideate, create, and execute robust original and branded content offering and calendar that enhances fan engagement and drives revenue opportunities across school athletic social channels. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Assist in creating original, branded and NIL video and social content in partnership with school teams to drive fan engagement across social channels and generate revenue opportunities for local sales staff. Support the development of custom-branded social content for local Learfield property sales teams. Assist in the creation of content for various platforms including but not limited to multimedia audio/video, animation, graphics, and sponsorable content. Serve as a liaison—alongside the Supervising Producer—between the athletics department content team, local Learfield sales teams, and national sales. Support the creative process from concept through final deliverables, including writing, producing, shooting, and occasionally overseeing editing. Assist the Supervising Producer and University production teams in the creative development of Learfield-led original content initiatives. Participate in the production of Learfield live-action shoots and other on-site content opportunities at the University. Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of experience in developing creative content that has driven engagement and measurable results. Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with content creators, partners, and other stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present concepts and strategies to executive leadership. Creative thinker with the ability to generate ideas that support project goals and initiatives. Strong administrative, critical-reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Highly organized, efficient, and strong attention to detail.
