Job Description

About the Position The English Department is seeking a motivated and dependable student worker to operate the Department's Instagram account. This position provides an opportunity to gain professional experience while contributing to the success of our department and the university community. Primary Responsibilities Operate the English Department's official Instagram account. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Curate followers Engage professionally with other McMurry University Instagram accounts and other appropriate accounts/followers Create content (2-3 posts or stories per week) Attend events as needed to create content (English Club meetings/events; film screenings; special guest lectures; etc.) Advertise the English Department faculty (accolades; publications; courses; etc.) Research and hone social media engagement skills Coordinate weekly work with Dr. Wren Keep a weekly timesheet
Qualifications Required:
