Job Description

Dematic is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Material Handler to support our warehouse and logistics operations. This role does not involve operating powered industrial equipment but plays a critical part in ensuring accurate packing, manifesting, and quality auditing of materials and products. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $20.00 to $25.00 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will Do In This Role Accurately pack products according to customer specifications and company standards. Ensure proper labeling of packages, including barcodes, shipping labels, and handling instructions. Prepare and verify shipping manifests and documentation for outbound shipments. Cross-check item counts, weights, and descriptions to ensure accuracy. Perform visual inspections and quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials. Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or non-conforming products. Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits. Maintain accurate records of material movement and storage locations. Organize and maintain cleanliness in work areas. Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures. What We are Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret packing slips, manifests, and quality standards. Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
