MILITARY REQUIREMENTS

Other requirements: For positions requiring the operion of motor vehicles, candides must have a valid ste driver's license for the ste in which they live or are principally employed. For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within One (1) year of appointment. This is an Air Nional Guard (ANG) Dual Stus Technician position requiring military membership, compible military skill assignment, and classificion. This position is loced in the Fuels Management Flight, within the Logistics Readiness Squadron, Mission Support Group, an ANG Aviion Wing. The primary purpose of this position is to manage fuel on behalf of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) which consists of operions and maintenance of a fuel distribution system th includes a Type III Hydrant fuel system ( Air Refueling Wings) equivalent to a small fuel farm, fuels laborory, cryogenic storage, bulk storage, base service stion, fuels informion service center, mobile fueling operions and the financial account management for missile propellants, aviion fuels, ground fuels and cryogenics utilized in support of aircraft, motor vehicles, engine test cells, powered Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE), generors and heing systems required to support the Wing mission and transient aircraft.Duties:
Organizes, administers and evalues a segment of the fuels quality assurance program for the organizion. Directs, inspects, operes and maintains a complete fuel distribution system(s) to receive, store, transfer and issue both aviion and ground fuels in a Type III hydrant system. Performs operor maintenance to include checking components for operion, adjustment, pressures, and external leakage under pressure, removing/cleaning/inspecting receipt and dispensing strainers, calibring additive injectors, draining wer from lines, tanks, filter separor vessels and dike/containment areas. Operes one or more types of special purpose design aviion and ground fuel tank truck vehicles having a capacity of up to 6,000 gallons and gross vehicle weight of 70,000 pounds used for fueling/defueling various types of aircraft and ground fuels applicions such as AGE, power production, heing and engine test cells. Performs other duties as assignedNote :
