Job Title:
Mechanical Assembler Job Description This role focuses on assembling tanker trucks, full products, and sub-assemblies in a manufacturing environment. You will install mechanical components, interpret manufacturing blueprints, and ensure all assemblies meet quality and safety standards. The position requires hands-on mechanical assembly experience and the ability to work efficiently with a variety of tools and equipment. Responsibilities Assemble and build tanker trucks, full products, and sub-assemblies according to manufacturing specifications. Install parts and sub-assemblies both before and after the painting process to ensure proper fit and finish. Assemble and install pumps, valves, and piping systems in line with engineering and production requirements. Assemble and install drives and pulleys to support proper mechanical function of completed equipment. Use power tools and hand tools effectively to complete mechanical assembly tasks. Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. Essential Skills Proven experience in large-scale mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Ability to read and interpret manufacturing blueprints, detail drawings, and dimension styles. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for mechanical assembly work. Knowledge of hydraulics and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with pneumatics and related components. Experience operating ironworkers, small band saws, drill presses, hand drills, cutting torches, and similar equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with mechanical repair in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Comfort working with schematics and mechanical drawings. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
