Job Description

We're currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Foreman to lead field crews on complex water and wastewater construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising daily operations while actively working alongside crews installing mechanical systems, process piping, pumps, valves, and treatment equipment. The ideal candidate must have direct experience in water and wastewater construction and a strong background in mechanical installation, crew leadership, and field coordination. Responsibilities Lead and supervise mechanical field crews on active construction projects Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors Install and oversee process piping systems, pumps, valves, blowers, and treatment equipment Read and interpret plans, specifications, P&IDs, and one-line drawings Perform field layout, isometric drawings, and material takeoffs Maintain production schedules and quality standards Promote and enforce OSHA and company safety requirements Conduct daily safety meetings and field documentation Work closely with Project Management on scheduling, logistics, and project coordination Maintain daily reports, timecards, redlines, and progress updates Mentor and develop field personnel Qualifications Minimum 5 years of mechanical construction experience with leadership responsibilities Direct experience in water and wastewater treatment plant construction required Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred) Valid driver's license required Welding, rigging, or pipefitting experience is a plus Experience with Bluebeam, ProjectSight, or similar construction software preferred Work Environment Full-time hourly position with overtime opportunities Field-based role with travel throughout New Hampshire and Southern Maine Active participation in physical construction activities required Work may include treatment plants, underground utilities, confined spaces, and live operating facilities Interested? !
